Supplement is not a magic pill. It usually takes at least one to three months to observe the benefit. Many customers gave feedback that Blackmores supplements worked according to the claims stated on the labels as these claims are backed up by latest research and scientific findings. They also observed these benefits by taking the supplements according to the dosage instructions.

We use glass bottles as glass is the best oxygen barrier. The amber colour of the glass bottles blocks out light and the silica sachet inside the bottle absorbs moisture which helps preserves the properties of the nutrient. At the same time glass bottles are recyclable, which helps in energy saving and minimizing environmental impact.

One level scoop of our Blackmores® Newborn and Follow-on Formulas is 8.8g of powder. The scoop for the Blackmores® Toddler Milk product is 8.5g. It is important to note that these are different sizes and the scoop that comes in the can with the product is the appropriate scoop to use. Never use a scoop from a different brand as these will be a different size to Blackmores®. Always follow the feeding table on the tin.

Originally recommendation was using boiled water around ~70°C was put in place to ensure risk of any microbial contamination is reduced if tap water or water from an unclean source was used. If you use 70°C, allow the prepared formula to cool down quickly, then check the temperature of the prepared formula on the inside of your wrist before giving to your child. It should feel warm and not hot then you can feed your child.

Formulas should be prepared just prior to feeding. Otherwise refrigerate prepared formula and use within 24 hours. We do not recommend making up feeds ahead of time. When mixed with water the powder becomes a perishable food product and can be prone to spoilage.

Contents of containers should always be used within 4 weeks of opening. Do not use a container if the seal is broken and always replace the plastic lid after use.

No, it is recommended to prepare and use each bottle separately and freshly for every feed. Discard unused portions and do not keep for later feeding.
